We were taking a drive through Seneca to determine if it's a place we want to move to when we saw this restaurant. We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner and were pleasantly surprised. You grab the menu at the front door then go to the counter to order. The cashier was the nicest! She explained some dishes to us and told us about the restaurant and the pie shop next door. She was a real pleasure. The food was good and the restaurant was well thought out and clean. We will be back the next time we're in town.

Mayberry's was the 2nd place we checked out during our brief time in Seneca. We were so impressed with the campy, vintage vibe and positive energy in this place! The waitstaff were all happy and efficient and the food was delish! It arrived promptly, as well. It was lovely to find this place and, while we live in Hendersonville, NC, we'd visit again just to go back! Prices were reasonable and again, our food was yummy! I had the 10-layer salad and it was perfect! My wife had chicken sandwich on Naan bread!

Cute family restaurant where you grab a menu and order at the counter from a friendly, funny young lady. She's really honest! We asked other patrons what they ate and got rave reviews from ALL of them. Under recommendation I ordered meatloaf. Now I usually hate out to eat meatloaf and when I saw the soft texture I thought "Oh no". But, it was super flavorful with brown gravy, mashed potatoes and crispy but delicious green beans. My absolute favorite thing was the cheesy corn bread! I'm a corn bread snob. And I ordered more to take home! I dipped it in my sister's spicy potato soup and it made both come alive! She stole some after that. She had the flatbread sandwich. It almost looked like pizza. But it tasted like a Philly cheesesteak. She ate every bite and said it was amazing. My husband had a hamburger but asked if they could add pulled pork. She said "of course!" He loves the word yes. He demolished it! And he's a chef. Mom ordered a Warrior sandwich. She loved it too. Ordered dessert to go because we were pretty stuffed. Peanut butter pie was different than what we expected. It looked like chocolate peanut butter pie. I loved it. Mom loved it. My sister ordered a cheesecake brownie. It was rich, delicious and big and you can actually taste the cheesecake swirls. I ordered the apple cranberry pie. I didn't really love it but my husband did. It had a lot of nuts. But he likes that. This family business has a loyal local following and we highly recommend it.

I thought I rated this place before..my bad as if you are looking for "comfort food" Mayberry's puts the "C" in that it also stands for Great Cooking. Nestled in downtown Seneca is a diner that has 5 main courses that the nice a polite staff will help you Navigate! The feel of an old country store with the local gifts to shop through..did I mention they have homemade pie? Meatloaf had the first time here but had the chicken pot pie and was equally good!

Wonderful spot to eat in Seneca. Great ambiance, extensive menu, and delicious food. I had the seven layer salad and a cup of potato soup and both were excellent. Right next-door is their pie shop and I highly recommend a stop there as well. They offer 6" and 9" sweet or savory pies. Will definitely be back!

The food here is amazing. You order at the counter and they bring it to you , but as good as any food in a formal restaurant setting. Don't pass it by. Pie was delicious as well

Oh my mama, I swear I fight anybody and everybody to eat that pot roast again. That's all I ever wanted from mom and Pop restaurant. And as far as the chocolate pie goes, it's definitely a top two and it damn sure ain't number two.

Located in a quaint town this restaurant was recommended by friends and we really liked it. A very casual and friendly environment. We really enjoyed the food. The pot roast bowl, grilled chicken, chicken pot pie, all were delicious. We followed up by going next door and getting pies from the Corner Pie Company.
